RealTrees is a new approach to deploy trees for digital and real-life entertainment. The www.realTrees.net Library will give artists extremely detailed tree models that they can use in a software package like SideFX´s Houdini for further processing.
We put the cart in front of the horse in our approach. A rich, realistic data set (the cart)  comes first, and the artist will then drive the data to add leaves, animation, and other features needed. For example: You don't need to put enormous time into a hero tree that stands on a winter battlefield shot. Instead, you can immediately choose a tree from our library and place it in your game or movie scene.
